The Friendship Missionary Baptist Church is seeking a faithful, committed, skilled, qualified, experienced and spirit-filled Pianist and/or Organist to transition into this position immediately.
He/She must be a Christian and should be able to profess such belief openly and exhibit signs of Christian character.
He/She should also be familiar with current and traditional styles of gospel music.
He/She must be committed to attending all music ministry rehearsals in addition to providing worshipful music for all public services held at Friendship M.B.C. and other services outside the physical boundaries of the church.
At times, he/she will be responsible for assisting the Minister of Music with:
- Training of voices
- Directing the choir(s)
- Arranging appropriate musical programs for all occasions where such services are needed
He/She will be expected to cooperate with the Pastor, the music ministry, and other church leaders in the selection of suitable music.
He/She will also be responsible for maintaining musical instruments and identifying any necessary repairs of such instruments.

The drummer must be able to work closely and in harmony with the Minister of Music, Pianist and/or Organist.
